Excelon Protection Dog Level 1 (PPO1)
A deterrent dog. Trained in obedience, manners, socialization and protection basic 1. This dog shows off leash obedience and listens to his handlers voice commands in all situations. As deterrent dog he turns on barking aggressively and turns off upon his handlers command.
This dog is skilled in all target obedience exercises off leash as well as:
• Turns on aggressively with directed barking at threat upon command
• Turns off directed barking upon command
• This dog does not have developed fighting skills. He is a deterrent dog.
• Socialized Type A (see program for target exercises)
• Socialized Type B (see program for target exercise)
• Taught to travel in vehicle
• Crate and house trained
Excelon Protection Dog Level 2 (PPO2)
The PPO2 dog is trained in obedience, manners, socialization and protection basic 1 for every day life. This dog shows off leash obedience and listens to his handler’s voice commands in all situations. He is a high caliber family pet and intensity is higher than a 1 dog and has basic fighting skills to handle a threat.
This dog is skilled in obedience on leash, off leash or both,
• Basic manners: sit for petting, down for petting and leave it
• Basic Socialization includes and is not limited to more than 5 environments
• Socialization extended: understands clear rules, boundaries and limits placed by handler
• Voice command trained, usually with hand signals too
• Distance and control trained
• Crate and house trained
• Vehicle travel and training
• Turns on aggressive directed barking at threats
• Turns off
• When threats escalate the dog is prepared to win the fight
• Is taught to defend/bite upon command at your side in the presence of a threat
• Taught to guard you, stay with you, in the presence of a threat or upon command
• Is gun sure
Foundation Training Level
Is where we start all people and dogs of all ages. We build the desired behavior we want through shaping. The training is consecutive 12-week training timeline. Per level and is part of the build up training to reach off leash reliability.
Daily target training exercises are completed by trainer. Repeated multiple times a day until the dog is offering us the desired behavior. In return the negative behaviors decrease during this time.
Socialization is non verbal hands on touch and does include rules, boundaries and limits. Socialization (social obedience) expectations increase with trained dog level, maturity and is on going.
Excelon Protection Dog Level 3 (PPO3)
This dog is trained to the highest level obedience and protection for every day life as family pet. This includes socialization. His caliber and intensity is the highest in the presence of a threat, and naturally his obedience skill level is the highest too. He is skilled in fighting and protecting his handler, family or home.
This dog is skilled in obedience on leash, off leash or both,

• Socialization extended: understands clear rules, boundaries and limits placed by handler
• Voice command trained, usually with hand signals too
